Amatriciana in Salento for areas hit by the earthquake
“Amatriciana per le zone stricken by the earthquake”: Lions Club Lecce Tito Schipa, in collaboration with Ruggeri & Associati Interactive Branding Agency and Foodismo, organizes a charity dinner “for the reconstruction of the areas affected by the earthquake through a fundraising campaign”.
Poggiardo, 20 November 2016 – The “Lecce Tito Schipa” Lions Club, founded on 20 December 2003, organizes a charity dinner in collaboration with Ruggeri & Associati – Interactive Branding Agency, Food & Food & Tourism and Ivan Tronci, Heinz Beck’s sous-chef and chef ambassador of Italian cuisine in the world for “Chef & Maître” at the 4* Tesoretto Hotel (Poggiardo).
Dinner receipts will be donated to the Italian areas affected by recent earthquakes through a current account opened by the Multidistrict Lions 108.
The menu will be delicious and special and will feature the typical dish of the area, the Amatriciana: five courses, a crescendo of taste for the palate of welcome guests.
Aperitif Musicale: finger-food accompanied by an excellent prosecco and music chosen: two arias from two famous operas performed by the baritone Giorgio Schipa, nephew of the famous opera singer from Lecce, Tito Schipa;
Declination: an Amatriciana in different textures;
Great Amatriciana-flavoured broth with seafood that contains the taste of tradition and the taste of the sea of Otranto.
Spaghettoni: the classic recipe with an innovative touch;
Burned Cream of Amatrice: a dessert with hints of Amatrice.
The cost of dinner for each guest is symbolic, 25€, and 85 tickets have already been sold.
